Fundamentals of Caring Practical Nursing II

Catalog description

This course expands on the principles foundational to practical nursing and patient care. Topics include principles of basic human needs, elimination, pain, tissue integrity, stress and coping, use of assistive devices, weight-based medication calculations, and end-of-life care. The concepts of Watson’s Caring Science, Human Caring Theory, and Quality and Safety in Education Nurses (QSEN) will be utilized throughout this course.
