Catalog description
This course provides an overview of teaching methodology for effective instruction for secondary classrooms. Students plan, design, and conduct effective instruction. Topics include theory and practices of research-based instruction, multiculturalism, classroom management and inclusion strategies for students with special needs. This course is intended for those persons who have a bachelor's degree and are seeking initial teacher certification and for teachers seeking recertification. Prerequisite(s): Departmental permission required. (Formerly EDU-2500. Students may not receive credit for both EDU-2500 and TED-2850.)
