Catalog description
This course provides students with an overview of teaching methodology for effective instruction in elementary classrooms. Opportunities are provided for planning and practicing instruction based on a knowledge of the theory and research supporting these strategies. Students focus on developing reflective practice and how to foster collaboration problem solving with colleagues. Prerequisite(s): This course is intended for those persons who have a bachelor's degree and are seeking initial teacher certification, and for teachers seeking recertification. Prerequisite: Departmental permission required. (Formerly EDU-2400. Students may not receive credit for both EDU-2400 and TED-2840.)
