Catalog description
This course focuses on developmentally appropriate practices, pedagogical strategies, and appropriate materials for effectively teaching young children. Students plan developmentally appropriate units, lessons, and activities for young children in a variety of settings and content areas. Additional topics include: effective teachers, reflection, play, critical and creative thinking, and assessment. Prerequisite(s): TED-1100 and TED-1200 (Formerly ECE-2570. Students may not receive credit for both ECE-2570 and TED-1200.)
