Catalog description
This is a co-requisite course designed to support students enrolled in MAT-1130 Mathematical Ideas. Students develop prerequisite skills and enhance quantitative literacy needed for success in MAT-1130, including organizing data, interpreting graphical displays, evaluating mathematical expressions, and exploring language associated with logic. Students enrolled in MAT 0113C must enroll in a linked section of MAT 1130 concurrently. Principles for Mathematical Ideas does not satisfy General Education Mathematics requirement. Please Note: MAT 0113C does not satisfy the PGCC mathematics requirement for graduation and does not transfer to most four-year institutions. All students must earn a grade of C or higher in credit bearing co-requisite course MAT 1130.
