Catalog description
In this course, students learn the fundamentals, deployment, integration, and management of cyber-analytics tools that may include open source and vendor-specific solutions, such as Fortinet's solutions. Skills taught in this course include device registration, policy packages, shared objects, centralized logging and reporting, and troubleshooting, features that are critical to day-to-day use. In interactive labs, learners explore system administration and management, register devices for log collection and centralization, perform forensic analysis of logs based on simulated network attacks, create reports, and explore solutions to common misconfiguration issues. The course objectives support the CompTIA CySA+ certification. Prerequisite(s): INT-1620
