Principles of Macroeconomics

Catalog description

This course explores the factors that impact the overall performance of an economy, by examining aspects of the economy from an aggregate perspective. It focuses on the policies that government pursues in order to achieve price stability, economic growth and full employment. Topics covered include supply and demand analysis, national income accounting, business cycles, aggregate expenditure and aggregate demand and supply models, and fiscal and monetary policy. Social sciences general education class. Prerequisite(s): Reading and mathematics readiness or MAT-0071 concurrent.
