An examination of the principles and techniques of criminal procedure employed during trials to determine the admissibility of physical and testimonial evidence. An analysis of laws and court decisions relating to admissibility is emphasized.

This section is taught in a hybrid format. A hybrid format combines classroom interaction with significant use of online instruction. Because much but not all of the instruction is online, the amount of class meeting time less than the traditional face-to-face version of the course. Students may use computers in one of the PGCC labs or home computers with Internet access to complete course activities. Students must attend every scheduled class session.
