Catalog description
In this course students are introduced to effective organizational training and development in the workplace. Students begin by examining the different theories of development training. This serves as the basis for a needs assessment using a SWOT analysis. Students examine the cost effectiveness of a training, as well as the benefits and challenges associated with the use of technology in organizational training. Additionally, students examine how to determine the appropriate training methods and evaluate the effectiveness of trainings. Formerly offered as MGT-2590. Students may not receive credit for both MGT-2590 and BMT-2590. (Not offered summer.)
