Catalog description
This course introduces students to the strategic management process. Students learn how use information to select and modify strategies to compete effectively. Emphasis is on organizational structure and controls, strategic leadership and entrepreneurship, as well as the legal and ethical components and implications of corporate governance. Note: CAPSTONE COURSE for the Business Management, AAS: In addition to the prerequisite course, students must complete a minimum of 45 credits prior to enrolling in this course. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 or better is also required. Prerequisite(s): BMT-1620 Formerly offered as MGT-2400. Students may not receive credit for both MGT-2400 and BMT-2400. Capstone Course(s): BMT-2400 is a Business Management Capstone course. (Not offered summer.)
