NCCER Plumbing Level I

Catalog description

This course provides the first level of training of the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) plumbing curriculum. Students gain an understanding of how plumbing systems work and the role and career path of a plumber in construction. They learn mathematics for the plumbing trade, how to read plumbing drawings and the basics of plumbing safety. They acquire the skills and knowledge needed to install plumbing fixtures and copper, plastic, cast iron, and steel piping systems. Successful completion of the course earns students the NCCER Plumbing Level 1 credential.
