Catalog description

This course is designed to provide a basis for understanding the significance and nature of experimentation and to introduce the principles underlying experimental design. Students implement basic biomedical and behavioral sciences techniques and apply them to inquirybased research problems. This course covers introductory-level scientific methods, sampling, qualitative and quantitative designs, and research strategies. It incorporates techniques used across disciplines including biology, chemistry, mathematics, and psychology.
