Research Capstone Project: 3 semester hours

Catalog description

The research capstone project is the scholarly alternative to the thesis. The project provides students the opportunity to use the research process to investigate a problem in clinical practice, nursing education or administration. This course is a faculty guided experience that requires synthesis of nursing theory, research, and practice into an oral presentation and written research paper. Prerequisites: ( NURS 5301 or NURS 5013) and ( NURS 5314 or NURS 5133).
