Clinical Research: 3 semester hours

Catalog description

The course focuses on the use of research methodologies to analyze nursing practice problems for a population of diverse ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds. The interrelationship between theory, practice and evidenced-based research, and the use of nursing knowledge for the improvement of clinical outcomes is emphasized. Review of major research designs, methods, and ethical requirements of scientific inquiry are addressed. Prerequisites: NURS 5301 or NURS 5013.
