Catalog description

This course explores the role of nursing and cultural influence on health, illness, and healthcare delivery across individuals, families, groups, and populations. Emphasis is placed on person-centered, equitable nursing practice through the application of clinical judgment, evidence-based practice, informatics, and interprofessional collaboration. Students will explore social determinants of health, ethical principles, and professional responsibilities to promote culturally responsive care in contemporary nursing practice.
