Catalog description

This theory course emphasizes community and population health concepts within a preventive framework to support health promotion and disease prevention in communities and populations. The clinical judgement model is utilized in community assessment, risk identification and application of community and population health nursing strategies. Prerequisites: ( NURS 4316 or NURS 4163) and ( NURS 4318 or NURS 4183) and ( NURS 4226 or NURS 4262) and ( NURS 4228 or NURS 4282). Co-requisites: NURS 4227 , NURS 4229 , NURS 4319 .
