Community & Population Health Nursing Practicum: 2 semester hours

This clinical practicum course provides the student an opportunity to focus on the application of community and population health concepts in health promotion and disease prevention in communities and populations. Students utilize the clinical judgment model in community assessment, risk identification, and application of community and population health nursing strategies. Prerequisites: ( NURS 4318 or NURS 4183) and ( NURS 4316 or NURS 4163) and ( NURS 4226 or NURS 4262) and ( NURS 4228 or NURS 4282). Co-requisites: NURS 4229 , NURS 4317 , NURS 4319 .
