Designed for the LVN to BSN student to explore the context of professional nursing including critical thinking and evidence based nursing practice. Course content and clinical activities focus on professional roles, values and responsibilities for nursing practice in a dynamic, culturally diverse care environment. Clinical application will focus on care of adults with a variety of health alterations. Prerequisites: ( BIOL 2401 or BIOL 1054) and ( BIOL 2402 or BIOL 1065).
