Catalog description
This is a lecture/lab course that focuses on a holistic approach to nursing care of families and cultural groups. Emphasis is placed on the nurse's role in health promotion, health maintenance and illness prevention in families from cultures in a national and international setting. Environmental influences on the family are explored. Prerequisites: NURS 3300 or NURS 3003.
