Catalog description

This course introduces the basic concepts of data mining to discover patterns in massive amounts of data to solve problems, gain scientific inference-based knowlege to make accurate scienctific predictions. Using the "R software", students will learn data reduction and summarization techniques to classify and analyze massive data sets. Prerequisites: MGMT 3302 or MGMT 3023.
