Catalog description

An introduction to finite element analysis as a modern computational tool to solve boundary value problems. Applications will be in structural mechanics, fluid flow, and heat transfer. Design and computer projects included. Prerequisites: ( CVEG 2332 or CVEG 2063) and ( MCEG 3301 (may be taken concurrently) or MCEG 3013 (may be taken concurrently)).
