Manufacturing Processes Laboratory: 1 semester hour

Catalog description

This lab includes experiments for metal identification, machinability of materials, effects of factors on surface roughness measurement, material removal rates, and cutting tool force analysis. It also includes illustrations of casting, forging, rolling, and powder metallurgy. Student will be required to design a structure part and perform manufacturing operations. Co-requisite: MCEG 3303 .
