Catalog description

The scope of this course includes fundamentals in measurement theory, statistical analysis of experimental data, uncertainty, accuracy assessments, and calibration techniques. The course includes the use and applications of instruments for measuring area, pressure, time, speed, temperature, strain, hardness, and deflection. Prerequisites: ( PHYS 2325 or PHYS 2513) and ( PHYS 2125 or PHYS 2511) and ( PHYS 2126 or PHYS 2521).
