Financial Markets and Institutions: 3 semester hours

Catalog description

Major domestic financial institutions and markets as well as the U.S. central bank and other regulatory agencies will be analyzed with an extension to international markets; topics include determination of interest rates, security valuation, mortgage markets, commercial banks and other financial institutions and their risk management activities. Prerequisites: ( FINA 3310 or FINA 3103) and ( ECON 2301 or ECON 2123).
