Catalog description

This course introduces the emerging field of systems biology and promotes application of Electrical and Computer Engineering methodology in biomedical fields. It covers many aspects of biomathematical modeling, including: the choice of a modeling framework; the design of interaction diagrams; the identification of variables and processes; standard methods of parameter estimation; the analysis of steady states, stability, and sensitivity; and the simulation of representative biomedical scenarios. Prerequisites: ELEG 6380 .
