Foundation and Application of Internet of Things: 3 semester hours

Catalog description

The course will give a systematic introduction to IoT technology, and the popular hardware platform such as Raspberry Pi together with some sensor kits will be adopted. It will cover the basic concepts and fundamental principles of IoT, including (i) IoT devices/things and its design, (ii) Embedded sensing and processing, (iii) Low power IoT networking and communication, and (iv) Computing and Data Analytics. A project-based teaching and learning approach will be adopted. Prerequisites: ELEG 2331 .
