Hands-on experience in the design, fabrication and construction of concrete and steel prototypes and models, such as concrete beam, concrete canoe and steel trusses. Application of engineering mechanics and materials laboratory techniques and methods, testing, analysis of experimental results, and report writing. Prerequisites: ( CVEG 2332 or CVEG 2063) and ( CVEG 2101 or CVEG 2061).
