Catalog description

Direction in performing an original research project. This involves an examination of how a choice of research question influences methodology. Basic statistical concepts and techniques for obtaining and analyzing large quantitative data sets will be reviewed. The course also examines techniques for conducting qualitative research and a familiarity with the latest qualitative research software packages. Prerequisites: CRIJ 3382 .
