Catalog description

Social and ethical implications of computing. Topics include history of computing, social context of computing, methods and tools of analysis, professional and ethical responsibilities, risks and liabilities of computer-based systems, intellectual property, privacy and civil liberties. Prerequisites: ( COMP 3322 and COMP 3395 and COMP 3306 ). Co-requisite: COMP 4207 .
