Catalog description

Introduction to the Internet of Things(IoT), evolution and market around Internet of things, embedded systems and distributed systems to support IoT devices, communication and data storage in IoT, IoT design considerations and constraints, current components of IoT and future trends. The goal of this course is to help students with solid technical knowledge and skills to build IoT systems from the ground up. The course will focus on creative thinking and on hands-on project development. Prerequisites: COMP 2013 or COMP 2336 .
