Catalog description

This course examines the principles and applications of polymer science and engineering. Students will cover topics such as the synthesis of polymers through various techniques such as addition and condensation polymerization, the characterization of polymers using techniques such as spectroscopy, chromatography, and rheology, and polymer processing methods such as extrusion and injection molding. Prerequisites: CHEM 2033 or CHEM 2303 .
