Chemical engineering laboratory with emphasis on reactive and control systems. Measurement of reaction conversion, determination of reaction order and rate in a tubular reactor. Analysis of the dynamic responses of stirred tanks in series. Experimental study of the use of analog and digital controller for heat exchanger and flow and level control systems. Prerequisites: ( CHEG 4303 or CHEG 4033) and ( COMM 1311 or COMM 1003 or SPCH 1003) and ( ENGL 1302 or ENGL 1133 or ENGL 1143 or ENGL 2311 ) and ( PHYS 2125 or PHYS 2511) and ( PHYS 2126 or PHYS 2521) and ( CHEM 1112 or CHEM 1021).
