Catalog description

An introductory view into how moral principles and standards are applied to the field of engineering. Students will learn how to navigate ethical problems. Topics include the responsibilities of an engineer, the code of conduct, ethical theories, ethics in the law, and case studies of engineering successes and failures. Prerequisites: ( CHEG 1101 or CHEG 1011) or ( CVEG 1101 or CVEG 1011) or ( ELEG 1101 or ELEG 1011) or ( MCEG 1101 or MCEG 1011).
