Studies leadership techniques and tactical operations at the small-unit level. In-depth analysis of team/squad tactical procedures and techniques. Instruction covers the principals of offensive and defensive combat operations, patrolling, the decision-making process, troop leading procedures, land navigation, and operation orders. Numerous student oral presentations and practical exercises. Prerequisites: ARMY 3331 or ARMY 3313.
