Catalog description

This upper-level undergraduate seminar course exploring interpersonal communication within Black communities, focusing on how historical perspectives, cultural influences, and contemporary issues shape relational dynamics. Students will analyze and apply theories and concepts specific to interpersonal communication, critically examining models for their effectiveness in representing the complexities unique to the Black community. Prerequisites: ( COMM 1318 ).
