Internship in Public History: 3 semester hours

This course offers students an opportunity to undertake a supervised internship with an organization or institutions dedicated to public presentation of the past. Internships can take places at historic sites, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, advocacy groups, house museums, research libraries, and archives that engage in heritage interpretation, preservation and research. Prerequisites: AFAM 2302 and HIST 3301 .
