Catalog description
This introductory course in Python programming provides basic object-oriented programming concepts for designing, developing, and executing programs and scripts. Topics covered include variables, operators, control structures, input and output, functions, simple data structures, file processing, and strings. Python prepares students with a universally accepted scripting language, used for web development, data analysis and modeling, network automation, and security. Successful completion prepares students to pass the Python Certified Associate Programmer (PCAP) certification exam.
