Catalog description
This hands-on course explores a professional approach to computer and cybercrime investigations. Students learn to idenfity potential electronic evidence, create strategies to locate and recover evidence, and perform forensic analysis. Students disucc the legal and ethical considerations of computer crime investigations. Topics covered include evidence handling, chain of custody, and collection and recovery of computer data using forensic software and methods.
