Intro to Fiction

Catalog description

This course introduces students to the study of fiction through examination of short stories and/or novels or novellas. The course develops students' ability to engage in close reading and to analyze fiction. Students will also learn about literary techniques/elements and develop awareness of authors' diverse contexts and various cultural influences.
