Catalog description
This is the second course in the composition sequence. It builds on English 101 by extending students' rhetorical knowledge and critical thinking/reading skills, with special attention to information literacy, inquiry-based research, and academic writing. The course requires a minimum of three major academic writing assignments, at least two of which are based on research and contain multiple sources. Note: A course grade of C or better is required for IAI transfer.
