Accounting for Entrepreneurs

Catalog description
This course provides a working knowledge of the underlying concepts of financial and managerial accounting to students who want to become entrepreneurs and students who are non-business majors. Financial accounting concepts of processing and understanding financial information, establishing internal control and accounting for inventory and long term assets are included. Managerial accounting concepts of cost-volume profit analysis, budgeting, capital investments and pricing are included. This course is not a substitute for BUS 131 or BUS 132.
