Catalog description

Covers practical procedures, techniques, and safety precautions used during apparatus operations. Includes the history and development of fire apparatus capabilities, pump construction, procedures for operation and hydraulic formulas used to calculate flow requirements. Knowledge and skills acquired during classroom instruction will be applied in drill ground operations. Prerequisites: FP 112 . Prerequisite/Concurrent: FP 202.
