Catalog description

Introduces the operation and use of various types of equipment and tools used in electronic technology, including electronic bench equipment, schematics, calculators, spreadsheet programs and Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layout software. Explores simulation tools and other software used to obtain and analyze data. Also introduces essential work skills needed to communicate effectively in industry. Prerequisites: WR 115 or any WR course for which WR 115 is a prerequisite. Prerequisite/Concurrent: EET 100A or MTH 111Z , or any MTH/STAT course for which MTH 111Z is a prerequisite, or equivalent placement. Audit available.
