Catalog description

Covers intermediate laboratory skill development in dental assisting materials and laboratory equipment. Includes the processes and materials used during the construction of fixed and removable prosthesis. Introduces dental materials used in various dental specialties. Includes an introduction to soft denture relines, suture removal, endodontic materials, and periodontal dressings. Corequisite: DA 132 . Prerequisites: Acceptance in the Dental Assisting Program, and DA 131 .
