Catalog description

Provides an in-depth exploration of the theory and practice of professional addiction counseling. Covers theoretical underpinnings of addiction counseling and the various treatment modalities used in the profession. Emphasizes developing practical counseling skills for working with clients. Prerequisites: AD 120E , AD 121E , AD 122E , AD 124E , AD 141E , HUS 101 , and ( WR 115 and RD 115 ) or IRW 115 and MTH 20 or equivalent placement. Audit available.
