Covers theoretical underpinnings of addiction counseling and the various treatment modalities used in the profession. Emphasizes developing practical counseling skills for working with clients. Prerequisites: AD 120E , AD 121E , AD 122E , AD 124E , AD 141E , HUS 101 , and ( WR 115 and RD 115 ) or IRW 115 and MTH 20 or equivalent placement. Audit available.
