Catalog description

Explores clinical evaluation and treatment planning for individuals with addiction and co-occurring disorders. Covers various approaches to assessment, including screening tools, diagnostic interviews, and clinical assessments. Presents different models of integrated treatment and the principles of evidence-based practice. Emphasis will be placed on developing comprehensive treatment plans that address both addiction and co-occurring disorders. Prerequisites: AD 120E , AD 121E , AD 122E , AD 124E , AD 141E , HUS 101 , HUS 102 , HUS 108 , and ( WR 115 and RD 115 ) or IRW 115 and MTH 20 or equivalent placement. Audit available.
