Catalog description

This course expands on the Principles of Neurosciences course in covering the other systems of the human body with special emphasis on those anatomically located in the thorax and abdomen. It covers the basic anatomy and physiology of these systems with brief coverage of the most commonly encountered pathophysiological conditions. This course is elective but highly recommended for all students interested in developing competencies in the subspecialties of Health Psychology and Neuropsychology. It is also recommended for students who plan to attend healthcare setting internships.
