Catalog description

This course provides essential hands-on experience and simulated clinical practice to complement the theoretical knowledge gained in NUR 2121. Students will develop proficiency in fundamental nursing skills, applying the nursing process within simulated and practice-based scenarios. Emphasis is placed on safe and effective practice, ethical decision-making, person-centered care, and interprofessional collaboration. The course integrates evidence-based practices, addressing legal and ethical considerations relevant to basic nursing skills. Sixty (60) practice and simulation hours. Pre-requisite(s): NUR 2110 Corequisite(s): NUR 2121 , NUR 2122
