Catalog description

The course focuses on a detailed discussion of all major psychiatric/psychological emergencies that usually present in school settings. A detailed discussion of crisis and emergency situations focus on both psychological and social aspects. Emphasis will be placed on psychological interventions, theoretical background, and the emergencies associated to issues that affect the social-emotional and learning development. Pre-requisite(s): SCP 5800
