This graduate course examines the theories, empirical foundations, and applications of cognitive-behavioral therapies that emphasize mindfulness and acceptance strategies. The course will focus on Dialectical Behavior Therapy for treating suicidality, self-injury, and borderline personality disorder, but will also cover Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy for treating these and other problems. Pre-requisite(s): PSY 7470
